May is a busy month --

Wednesday, May 14th dinner and drinks at the Cheesecake Factory with Jen Lancaster then off to her signing at Lincoln Park (North Park) Barnes and Noble at 7pm. Can you join us? RSVP if you're coming for the reservation. Feel free to invite a friend as well! Great opportunity to meet up-close-and-personal an author with a snarky sense of humor!!

A big shout out to the new readers we met at Shanna's signing in Plano Shanna Swendson is launching her latest "Enchanted, Inc." book -- Don't Hex With Texas and we'll be hosting dinner at Black Eyed Pea as well as attending her signing on Wednesday, May 7th at the Borders - Preston and Park in Plano. Please RSVP if you're coming so we can get a big enough table. It will be off the menu. The signing begins at 7pm. Cake will be provided!

No tea in May but we will be having book club with the gracious, funny and totally delightful Linda Francis Lee talking about her latest Texas based contemporary, The Ex-Debutante on Wednesday, May 21st. The theme is Tex-Mex in celebration of Cinco de Mayo! There will be margaritas and fabulous, delicious fajitas to enjoy! Hope you can join us!

What's the DFW Tea Readers Group and Book Club?

A book club for romance, mystery, science fiction/fantasy readers and authors in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. We do a monthly tea at a tearoom around the metroplex, alternating east and west sides, as well as trips to Denton and Duncanville, plus our fabulous Holiday Tea. If you read and love to discuss your books and authors, this is a great group with lively on-line discussion as well as the opportunity to meet in person.

The book club meets on the second Saturday of each month for tea and on the third Wednesday for dinner and an author call-in. Members also attend many signings in the Dallas / Fort Worth area. New members are always welcome!
